Job Opening: Senior Project Manager

Community IT Innovators is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Development and Online Strategies team.

Required qualifications:

  • 4 years experience working in technology and/or nonprofit organizations in a project management capacity
  • Experience with managing technology projects
  • Professional presence, mature and confident
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter, good time management skills and ability to lead a team
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience with the Drupal content management system
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations
  • Experience in Information Architecture, User Experience, Online Strategies, or other building blocks of a successful website project

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage project team and resources necessary to deliver services
  • Provide oversight of project scope, quality, time and cost
  • Provide leadership to the project team
  • Interact regularly with client project team and client executive staff, and with 3rd-party consultants and vendors as needed
  • Participate in reviewing RFPs, developing estimates, and reviewing proposals
  • Work with clients to develop project scope, timeline and budget
  • Contribute to internal processes and business unit direction and leadership

Compensation:
Based on experience, and comparable with nonprofit sector project management salaries. A cycling/walking stipend is also available.

Work is usually performed in the CITI office; we do offer the flexibility to work from home and on non-standard schedules as project timelines and other obligations allow. We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Some local travel to client locations is required.
